2025 marks the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and a crucial year for laying the groundwork for the 15th Five-Year Plan. To extensively solicit and gather opinions and suggestions for the research and formulation of the 15th Five-Year Development Plan for the chemical fiber industry, the China Chemical Fibers Association (CCFA) organized a seminar on the plan in Suzhou on May 20. At the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics related to the 15th Five-Year Plan, including the industry’s current landscape, existing challenges, and core tasks ahead. These tasks cover consolidating strengths and addressing weaknesses, avoiding a "rat race" in competition, advancing digital and intelligent transformation and the implementation of the "AI Plus" initiative in the industry, pursuing green and low-carbon development, leveraging scientific and technological innovation platforms and systems, and promoting the industry’s development within the "dual circulation" paradigm and the global layout of enterprises.

This focused seminar supported the 15th Five-Year Plan compilation for China’s chemical fiber industry. Attendees shared valuable insights, laying a solid foundation for evidence-based decision-making.
